Terms and conditions

Note: These terms are a draft tailored to the current PlatingStudio workflow and do not replace legal advice. Before consumer sales, checkout wording, tax and price information, withdrawal notices and consent to early performance must be reviewed.

1. Scope and provider

These terms apply to PlatingStudio and paid plate orders. Provider: Stefan Roeben, Schwändlesteig 2, 87466 Oy-Mittelberg, Germany, info@platingstudio.com.

2. Service

PlatingStudio creates AI-assisted plating concepts, images, analyses and recipes. Results are creative proposals and do not guarantee a particular visual, culinary or commercial outcome.

3. Account

Sign-in uses a temporary email code. Users must predect access and may not misuse accounts, plate orders or security controls.

4. Plate orders

Paid functions use plate orders. Package scope and price are shown before purchase. One plate order is charged when generation is confirmed and started. It includes three plating concepts, Kitchen Mode, a PDF guide and one recipe of your choice. A plate order will generally be restored if no usable result is delivered solely because of a technical failure within the provider's responsibility. Plate orders are account-bound, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.

5. Contract and payment

The contract is concluded when payment is confirmed and plate orders are added to the account. Payments are processed through PayPal.

6. Availability

Generation times vary. Continuous uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

7. Consumer withdrawal

Consumers generally have statutory withdrawal rights. Any early expiry for digital content or services requires the legally prescribed express consent and acknowledgement and cannot be achieved merely through these terms.

8. User obligations

Users must not submit unlawful content, infringe third-party rights, bypass controls, run harmful automated requests or submit sensitive third-party data without authority.

9. AI limitations

AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. Users must verify results, especially cooking temperatures, allergens and food safety information.

10. Rights in output

To the extent legally possible and subject to third-party rights, users may use and edit generated results privately and commercially. No guarantee is made that output is exclusive or copyright-predected.

11. Warranty and liability

Statutory warranty rights apply. Liability is unlimited for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health and mandatory law. For slight negligence involving an essential contractual duty, liability is limited to foreseeable typical damage.

12. Closure and suspension

Accounts may generally be closed by contacting the provider. Serious abuse or security risks may lead to suspension, subject to statutory rights.

13. Changes

The service may be developed further where the contractual purpose is not unreasonably impaired.

14. Dispute resolution

The provider is not obliged and is currently not willing to participate in consumer arbitration unless mandatory law requires it.

15. Governing law

German law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory predection under the law of their habitual residence.
